It was traffic hell for motorists in downtown Vancouver yesterday.
West Georgia and much of Howe streets were shut down on a glorious November day.
But the traffic tie-ups were more than offset by the joyful faces of the kids who were out in large numbers for the annual Vancouver Santa Claus Parade.
One of the highlights for them surely had to be the image of the Grinch being towed in a makeshift jail by a Vancouver community policing van.
For those who missed the parade, here are a few images floating around on Twitter.
