We could all use a little help at this time of year. Though Santa’s elves are preoccupied for the remainder of the season, that doesn’t mean you have to tackle your winter worries alone. That’s because the, powered by the Google Assistant, is the essential holiday helper. Yes, a helping hand is great, but a helping speaker is even better.

The Google Home Mini can help you get through your “to do” list in no time. The built-in Assistant can help you organize your schedule, set reminders, make calls, and more. And it’s not just handy for life-admin tasks—you can use your voice to play music, listen to audiobooks, or stream shows, films, and more to your TV with Chromecast. Simply say “Ok Google, play my holiday playlist,” or “Hey Google, turn on Netflix” for easy entertaining. Consider this clever little device your help on the shelf in any room.

Google Home Mini also brings fun and entertainment to the whole family during the holidays. If you have a Google Home Mini, try some of these:

      • “Hey Google, call Santa”
      • “Hey Google, what’s your favourite Christmas food?”
      • “Hey Google, what do you think I should cook for Christmas?”
      • “Hey Google, what’s your favourite Christmas cookie?”
      • “Hey Google, tell me a holiday fact.”
      • “Hey Google, why did you build a gingerbread house?”
      • “Hey Google, run run run as fast as you can”
      • “Hey Google, give me a gingerbread house fact”
      • “Hey Google, do you know the gingerbread man?”

But they do say that seeing is believing. And just in time for the holidays, Google has brought the Google Home Mini Gingerbread Smart Home to the CF Pacific Centre (located in the atrium) from now until Sunday (December 16). Don’t miss your chance to get into the holiday spirit and see the Google Home Mini in action.

While there are no guarantees you’ll see the big man himself, you will have the opportunity to meet a few of the Google elves, who will be there to give you a tour. Feast your eyes on the candy-filled gingerbread house and test the Google Home Mini with commands like turning on the Christmas lights and making the house warmer.

The Google Home Mini Gingerbread Smart Home is open at the CF Pacific Centre from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Saturday (December 15), and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. All guests will walk away with either a Google Home Mini or a gingerbread cookie, so everyone’s a winner. To learn more or RSVP, visit the .
