Vine and HQ Trivia founder Colin Kroll, 35, found dead of suspected overdose

      A young U.S. tech whiz is dead.

      The body of Colin Kroll, 35, was found in his apartment in the SoHo area of Manhattan.

      The cofounder of Vine and HQ Trivia is suspected have died as a result of a drug overdose.

      This came after his girlfriend reportedly contacted officials after she couldn't locate him.

      Vine's claim to fame was that it could host six-second looping videos that could be easily distributed over social media. It was bought by Twitter in 2012 for $30 million and the company later let Kroll go in 2014.

      He also previously worked for Yahoo and Jetsetter.
