Vancouver's Golden City Bakery recalls red-bean paste due to undeclared wheat

      Today (January 16), the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced that Golden City Bakery is recalling it Red Bean Paste, which is sold in B.C., because it contains wheat that isn't declared on the label.

      The product is in a 450 gram container with the UPC number 7 79542 83115 0.

      Golden City Bakery is located at 1070 Kingsway in Vancouver.

      Anyone who has an allergy to wheat, celiac disease, or other gluten-related disorders should not consume the product, as it could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.

      The recalled product should be disposed of or returned to the place of purchase.
