Vancouver gay nightclub XY is still looking for a new owner.

To sweeten the offer, a new listing features a huge discount of $300,000.

From a December 2018 price of $599,000, XY is now selling for $299,000.

XY is on the second floor of 1216 Bute Street, overlooking the Jim Deva Plaza at the heart of Davie Village in the city’s West End.

The nightclub closed after December 31 last year.

The new listing by Restaurant Business Broker notes that the liquor primary license has been a “staple in the neighbourhood for years”.

The liquor license is good Mondays through Thursdays until 2 a.m., and Fridays through Sundays until  3 a.m.

“This location is in a very high traffic location and has a license capacity of 150 with a 30 person patio,” the listing states. “Bringing a unparalleled experience to Vancouver, this location has raised the bar for nightclubs on Davie Street and redefined its nightlife.”

      XY opened in 2015.
