Local fashion retailer Oak + Fort has attracted a large fan base with its minimalist-chic apparel, and now the Canadian company is expanding that aesthetic into beauty.

Its new cosmetics line is designed in Vancouver and made in South Korea, and includes products for the face, lips, eyes, brows, and nails.

The collection features lipsticks, lip tints, lip gloss, brow pencils, eye liners, lip-and-cheek tints, CC cushions, a face powder, and nail polish, with prices ranging from $9 to $28.

Beauty fanatics will appreciate the bold but versatile hues offered through its lip products, lightweight and buildable CC cushion coverage (which comes in three shades), as well as the creamy and easy-to-apply lip-and-cheek duos.

Gamay is a creamy lipstick with a semi-matte finish.

Oak + Fort has also come out with five new nail lacquer shades, such as Cenote (pastel mint green) and Shale (dusty pale pink). Its opaque formula dries quickly, and can also be topped with a matte polish for a unique finishing.

In celebration of its new beauty collection, the Vancouver-based brand has launched Oak + Fort Beauty on Tour: a travelling pop-up display at select retail locations across Canada through June. Visitors will be able to try all the products, and receive consultations with an on-site beauty expert.

The pop-up is currently happening at Richmond Centre until May 26, before heading to other Canadian cities like Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto.

“Our approach to beauty is built on thoughtful minimalism and quality that is attainable,” Min Kang, founder of Oak + Fort, said in a press statement. “Our travelling [beauty pop-up] gives us the opportunity to bring this philosophy to life in the stores while offering our customers across the country a fun and interactive way to engage with our new beauty products.”

Nail polish shades Carmine and Cenote.
