March on Pride
Emery Barnes Park, July 27
Black Lives Matter is organizing this annual event, which takes place on the unceded ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh peoples from 10:30 to 4 p.m. Designed to draw attention to the history and politics behind Pride, it begins with a gathering in Emery Barnes Park, followed by a march along Davie Street.

The Summer of Love celebration at the Davie Street nightclub will feature Motown music all night with appearances by Softieshan, Trevor Risk, and Kendall Gender.

This year’s 16th lesbian walk down Commercial Drive begins at McSpadden Park at 11 a.m. before leaving at noon on the way to Grandview Park for the festival, which ends at 5 p.m.
Vancouver Pride Parade
West End, August 4
The celebration and protest begins at noon at Robson and Thurlow streets before turning along Denman Street and Beach Avenue.
