Your horoscope for September 26 to October 2, 2019

As of Thursday, the sun in Libra shines its fullest light on Chiron in Aries, the healing crisis archetype. This transit continues to call to attention that which is in most need of revaluation and reconciliation. Hypocrisy, racism, inequality, injustice, and moral decay are in existence everywhere. We can fight against it—and we should, but more importantly we need to learn from it. It is no new revelation to see that the world is an imperfect place, and our social norms and systems are incredibly flawed. In Chiron’s mythology, he was accidentally struck with a poison arrow that he himself had created. The result was an incurable wound from which he could find no relief. Eventually, Chiron’s healing came from trading places with Prometheus, whose crime was that of stealing fire from the gods for the benefit of humanity. Chiron’s recruitment as wounded healer comes first unwittingly by circumstance and later by a sacrificial choice. To cure a wound, it must first be exposed. Like Chiron, we must recognize that, personally and collectively, we have already also signed up to crack open what is in need of healing. Let’s not get caught up in the blame, shame, and victimization game; it is but a distraction. Let’s work on the healing end instead.

Saturday delivers a super new moon in Libra. It’s a good weekend to ease up and socialize, sharing your time or your heart. It’s also one for observing yourself in action. A natural evolution can be underway regarding a fresh perspective, conversation, or evaluation process. Back-to-work Monday could be somewhat demanding or stressful. Tuesday/Wednesday can be a smoother go. Even so, watch for a subtle undercurrent or a building undertow. Pluto in Capricorn ends retrograde late Wednesday.
