As we head further into autumn, Grouse Mountain will be gearing up for the winter season.

Accordingly, the mountain will be closed from October 28 to November 8. During that time period, all mountain activities and facilities will be closed and there won’t be any upload or download access to or from the mountain.

Winter preparation projects and maintenance work will be completed before reopening in November.

What will remain open will be Grouse Mountain’s Guest Services and Essentials (from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily) and Starbucks, located in the base plaza.

Although the Ground Grind and the BCMC Trail will remain open, there won’t be any download access on the Grouse Mountain Skyrides. Consequently, hikers on the Grouse Grind will need to use the BCMC Trail to return down the mountain as downhill hiking on the Grouse Grind is prohibited.
