Here's some good news from the local mountains for the long weekend.
Grouse Mountain announced today (November 8) that although it has been closed since October 28 for seasonal maintenance work, it is now ready to reopen as planned tomorrow (November 9).
Starting Saturday morning, the Grouse Grind, Super Skyride, Mountain Ziplines, Grizzly Habitat, and the Chalet (including its restaurants) will be open for visitors.
The Skating Pond will open later in the season after cooler temperatures develop.
In honour of Remembrance Day on Monday (November 11), all active, reserve, and retired Canadian military personnel and cadets can receive complimentary admission to the mountain with the presentation of valid identification.
