Driver, 23, suffers life-threatening injuries in early-morning collision in Burnaby

      An early-morning collision in Metro Vancouver today has left a woman in critical condition.

      At 4:35 a.m. this morning (December 10), officers received a report about a collision at the intersection of Second Street and 10th Avenue in Burnaby.

      Upon arrival, officers found that two vehicles had collided. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 23-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

      The occupants of the other vehicle were taken to hospital as well but they have since been released.

      The investigation into what caused the collision is continuing on.
