      Anyone with allergies to eggs or seafood should not consume the following Korean cuisine products that have undeclared allergens in them and are under recall.

      The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) stated that Redfrog Enterprises launched a recall on January 20 for their Wang Korea brand fish sausage products because eggs were not listed as an ingredient on the labels.

      The products were sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario.

      Affected Wang Korea brand products include:

      Previously on December 31, the CFIA had announced that Redfrog Enterprises was recalling other Wang Korea brand fish sausage products in British Columbia and Ontario for the same reason.

      The affected Wang Korea products of that recall included the following (which all have the date code “Sep 10, 2020” on them):

      Meanwhile, other companies are recalling similar Korean food products that also have undeclared allergens.

      The CFIA announced on January 2 that T-Brothers Food And Trading Ltd. issued a recall for some of its Hyosung and Hansung products due to undeclared egg.

      Affected products include:

      • Hyosung (Cheese) Fish Cake (Mild) (50 x 140 grams) with date code 2021.11.04 (no UPC);

      Also on January 2, the CFIA said that Seoul Trading Corp. was recalling its Ourhome brand Spicy Jjamppongs for undeclared oyster and squid in British Columbia and Alberta.

      Anyone who has these products should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase.
