Rainbows are ready to illuminate the white slopes of Whistler once again.

Whistler Pride will run from Sunday (January 26) to the following Sunday (February 2), to celebrate all things LGBT in the mountains of B.C.

The festival will include guided ski and snowboard groups on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, a charity ski race to benefit A Loving Spoonful, free daily après and lounge events, T-dances and DJ parties, fetish night, game night and drag bingo, comedy and a cabaret, a transgender documentary screening, a Scandinave Spa private event, a pool party, and more.

Australian comedian Pam Ann will be back with laughs for Pam Ann Returns (Pam Ann replaces previously scheduled comedian Nicole Byer).

For those who want to show their support for LGBT people and rights, there’s the annual Pride parade to take note of that everyone is welcome to participate in.

The Pride parade will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on January 31. It will begin at Mid-Station on Whistler Mountain with skiiers coming down the mountain before proceeding through Whistler Village. This year’s parade grand marshal, Lady Bunny, will lead the parade to the Whistler Conference Centre where the Pride T-Dance will be held, with free admission until 5:30 p.m.
