Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle on Highway 10 in Surrey

      Tragically, a fatal collision that took place in Surrey on Friday night claimed the life of a pedestrian.

      Surrey RCMP stated that around 8 p.m. on February 14, officers responded to a report about a collision on Highway 10.

      A vehicle travelling west on Highway 10 had struck a pedestrian in the 18300 block of Highway 10 in Surrey.

      The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The pedestrian’s identity has not been released.

      The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Highway 10 was closed between 180th Street and 184th Street for traffic while investigators gathered evidence and was later reopened. Meanwhile, the investigation is continuing on.

      A few days later on February 16, three vehicles collided on 140th Street in Surrey, resulting in one driver being hospitalized in critical condition.
