Pedestrian, 45, rushed to hospital after hit by SUV in Richmond

      Investigators are seeking any additional information about a collision that took place in Richmond on Saturday, which resulted in a pedestrian being rushed to hospital.

      Richmond RCMP stated today (February 25), that shortly after 6 p.m. on February 22, officers responded to a collision involving a dark-coloured SUV and a pedestrian in the area of Railway Avenue and Linfield Gate in Richmond.

      The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man from Richmond, sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.  

      The driver, a 49-year-old woman from Richmond, remained at the scene and has been cooperating with police.
