Twitter hiring software engineers for Vancouver unit

Twitter is looking to recruit a group of top computer-science graduates for a new “global centre of excellence” in Vancouver.

The social-media company has posted an advertisement on its jobs site outlining the employment opportunity.

“Twitter is creating a global center of excellence in Vancouver for computer science graduates to work on some of the most interesting technical challenges in the industry today,” the job posting reads.

“These range from bite-sized feature development projects to large operational undertakings, such as building the systems that enable us to deliver fast, scalable and reliable services to users.”

Among the job requirements is a bachelor’s degree in computer science from “a global Top 100 university”.

Candidates are also expected to have “boundless potential as a software engineer, demonstrated by breathtaking academic achievement”.

The job posting says Twitter is looking to hire “a handful” of software engineers, but the number of available positions is not specified.

Good Luck, we're having difficulty in finding developers that can distinguish between C and C++ and these guys want "breathtaking academic achievement"
