Luxury consignment shop Mine & Yours has a new home in downtown Vancouver.
The local boutique, founded by entrepreneurs Jigme Nehring and Courtney Watkins, first set up shop in a live-work space on Hornby Street three years ago. The store has since grown rapidly in popularity, necessitating the move to larger, more permanent retail space at 1025 Howe Street.
The Straight got a sneak peek at the new boutique during a media event last night (April 5), where we spotted preloved items from designer labels like Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Vince, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and more. The bright, all-white space features floor-to-ceiling shelving modeled after a fashionista’s closet.
Racks and displays are organized artfully throughout the shop, offering plenty of space to showcase the secondhand designer apparel, bags, shoes, and accessories that the shop has become known for.
Mine & Yours will continue to operate its alternative “resale” retail model at its new location, where Vancouverites can receive cash or store credit upfront in exchange for gently worn high-end goods.
The boutique officially opens its doors to the public this Saturday (April 9) at 11 a.m. Check out the rest of the images from last night’s media preview below.
