Tsawwassen Mills shopping centre has announced a list of retailers set to join the development as it prepares for its grand opening this October.

In addition to the Saks OFF 5TH Fashion Outlet, which has been confirmed to occupy 32,687 square feet of the 1.2-million-square-foot development, Forever 21, H&M, Marshalls, Old Navy, Sportchek, Winners, and Urban Planet/West 49 will serve as anchor tenants. Bass Pro Shops, Tommy Hilfiger Outlet, and B.C.’s second DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse are also set to open shops at the centre.

Tsawwassen Mills will welcome 12 other tenants, including Aritzia, Browns, Ever New, L’Occitane en Provence, and Marc Cain. Outlet stops for Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Gap, Harry Rosen, GUESS, and Lucky Brand Jeans have also been confirmed.

In terms of restaurants, the megamall will host new locations for Milestones Grill & Bar and Montana’s Bar & Grill.

More retailers will be announced closer to Tsawaasen Mills’ grand opening, which is slated for October 5, 2016. Located off Highway 17A and 52nd Street—only a short drive away from the Washington State border and the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal—the Coast Salish–themed centre will feature approximately 200 brands and ample parking space.

A promotional video for Tsawwassen Mills released by developer Ivanhoé Cambridge.

According to renderings from a promotional video released by the site’s developer, Ivanhoé Cambridge, last April, the centre will be divided into various sections, such as a sustainabilty court, fashion neighbourhood, a large dining space, outdoor life neighbourhood, and a sport court.

Ivanhoé Cambridge hopes that the megamall will draw shoppers from across the Lower Mainland, as well as Vancouver Island and the U.S. A new 10-lane bridge, which was proposed by the province last December, will increase access to the centre for residents traveling from Vancouver and Richmond.
