Vancouver Farmers Markets is kicking off the harvest season with its second annual Fall Fair at Mount Pleasant Farmers Market (2300 Guelph Street) this Sunday (October 2) from 10 to 2 p.m.

The highlight of the fair will be an urban pumpkin patch, complete with gourds of all shapes and sizes—perfect for carving jack-o-lanterns or baking pumpkin pies.

Fair-goers will also be able to learn how to “milk” a wood cow (if you’re good at it, you’ll have a chance to win prizes), create veggie sculptures, and take selfies at its ‘Vancouver Gothic’ farmer-themed photo booth.
