Fashionsistas, consider your weekend plans set: London-based retail shop Collection of Style—better known as COS—has officially landed in Vancouver.

The brand is owned by the same parent company as H&M and is often considered the high-street giant's older, more sophisticated sister.

The 3,024-square-foot shop at 18 Water Street takes the space formerly occupied by Zientte Interiors. It carries an in-house line of apparel, footwear, and accessories for men and women that emphasize classic silhouettes, high-quality details, and functional colour palettes.

The Straight got a sneak peek of the soon-to-open store this morning (March 16), where we spotted a selection of crisp button-downs, bell-sleeve tops, straight-leg denim, relaxed Ts, and nautical-happy cardis. Many are washed in a rainbow of green, mustard yellow, tangerine, and rouge as part of COS's spring collection, though there are plenty of black and white pieces for those who prefer to keep it monochromatic.

Prices range from $25 for basic T-shirts to $125 for denim to $200-plus for outerwear. Accessories such as jewellery, wallets, and socks are available at lower price points.

Scandinavian-style furnishings and warm woods throughout reflect COS's commitment to clean lines and timeless construction. The store is divided into various zones, with womenswear greeting shoppers at the Water Street entrance and menswear situated toward the back of the boutique.

The Gastown location is COS's fourth shop in Canada. The brand operates 200 stores in 33 countries, including two in Toronto and one in Montreal.

Check out the photos below for a first look inside Vancouver's new COS store before it officially opens to the public this Friday (March 17) at noon.
