The Weeknd brings limited-edition Starboy merch to Vancouver this weekend

After performing a sold-out show in Vancouver last week—no doubt with boxfuls of $45 T-shirts and other tour garb in tow—the Weeknd is unleashing another threat to your wallet: a pop-up shop in Gastown carrying the artist’s limited-edition Starboy 2017 capsule collection.

Hosted at Roden Gray (8 Water Street) from this Friday to Sunday (May 5 to 7), the pop-up will carry men’s and women’s Ts, long-sleeves, hoodies, bombers, denim jackets, and hats. If the collection’s lookbook is any indication, fans can expect plenty of graphic prints, patchwork, and imagery related to the Weeknd’s latest album, Starboy, as well as his XO record label.

Items are available in limited quantities and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Prices range from $55 to $135.

The store will operate on Roden Gray’s regular hours (11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday).

The Weeknd’s website also notes that the pop-up will carry “limited edition designs exclusive to” Vancouver. The city is one of eight North American cities where the Starboy capsule collection will be available this weekend.
