Knock Gwyneth Paltrow all you want, but there’s no denying that her wellness-centred website, Goop, aligns with Vancouver’s health-conscious values. (Even if we can’t exactly afford the $195 T-shirts and $70 crystal-healing eggs she’s shilling.)
So it’s fitting that that the online brand, which regularly offers readers tips in areas such as cooking, exercise, and travel, has partnered with Nordstrom to host a pop-up shop in Vancouver dedicated to holistic living.
Presented as part of Nordstrom’s Pop-In @ Nordstrom series, the “Goop-In” features a variety of beauty, fashion, home, and fitness products, as well as items from the label’s own luxury skincare, apparel, and fragrance lines.
Among the stock is natural deodorant from the Hollywood-based Agent Nateur; organic, small-batch lip balms by Olio-e-osso; and honey-infused face masks from former makeup artist May Lindstrom. Many of the beauty products are vegan and cruelty-free.
For the home, the goop team has curated nut milk makers, kombucha-brewing jars, and cast-iron cookware, plus essential oils and diffusers from the Vancouver-based Vitruvi. Workout and yoga-wear is available from labels such as Spiritual Gangster and Monrow.
Organic cosmetics and skincare products from the Gwenyth Paltrow–backed Juice Beauty will also be on hand. Cosmetics start at $15, home items at $10, and fitness equipment and apparel at $15.
Goop-In @ Nordstrom runs until June 25 at Vancouver’s Nordstrom (799 Robson Street).
