Lipault Paris has arrived on Canadian soil with its first standalone location at Richmond’s McArthurGlen Designer Outlet (1000–7899 Templeton Station Road).

Owned by Samsonite, the French brand is known for its lightweight and vibrant luggage pieces that are crafted from luxe materials like nylon, vinyl, and leather. Many of the pieces are monochromatic and feature shades such as black, purple, ruby, and “duck blue”.

The almost 1,300-square-foot shop will carry Lipault Paris’s line of handbags, totes, suitcases, and other travel accessories. The products are designed and developed in France and range in price from $40 to $380.

“As a growing international city, we have had our sights set on Vancouver to host the newest Lipault location,” said Erin Reynolds, national marketing communications specialist at Samsonite Canada, in a press statement.

Lipault Paris’s spring/summer 2017 collection, which is now available in-store, includes bags in hues like turquoise, rose gold, and olive. The company’s name comes from founders François and Karine Lipovetsky’s surname. Its products are currently available in over 50 countries.
