WestJet is boosting its service to and from Vancouver with 43 new weekly flights this winter.

The airline announced today (July 24) that it will launch a new non-stop weekly service between Vancouver and Huatulco, Mexico, starting on October 29.

Introductory one-way fares from Vancouver to Huatulco booked by July 31 start at $289.39 (with a base fare of $206).

This winter, more flights will also be added on routes from Vancouver to Alberta and northern B.C.—Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, and Fort St. John—and Mexico—Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta.

Flights between Vancouver and Calgary will increase from 90 to 98 times weekly, which will be the most of any carrier.
