Vancouver-based fashion house Aritzia has announced that it will open the doors to its first Babaton store in the city on September 21.

Situated in Pacific Centre (701 West Georgia Street), the 3,000-square-foot boutique will stock Babaton’s minimalist women’s apparel, which includes an assortment of streamlined dresses, polished pyjama tops, and menswear-inspired trousers. Pieces from associated brands, 1—01 Babaton and the Group by Babaton, will also be available.

The design of the space will feature an indoor garden, leaning marble wall, and custom glass, metal, and stone details. A mix of original art, sculptures, and plants will ensure the shop remains true to Artizia’s aesthetic.

Launched in 1997, Babaton is one of Artizia’s core labels. This is the third Babaton boutique to open in Canada and the 84th North American location for Aritzia and its in-house brands. Founded in 1984, the homegrown fashion house also operates separate stores for its Wilfred and TNA labels in Vancouver.
