Steven Tyler and David Foster might seem like an odd musical couple, but they stood beside each other on the red carpet before the Miracle Gala and Concert last night at Rogers Arena.

Foster, who grew up in Victoria, also posed with Oprah Winfrey on one of of her rare visits to Vancouver.

It was all for the 30th anniversary event of the David Foster Foundation-funded gala, which raises money to help cover medical, travel, and living expenses for families of children receiving organ transplants.

Jay Leno, Goldie Hawn, and Carly Rae Jepsen were also there.

Collectively, they raised $10.2 million for the charity.
