Photos: Beaver moon looked spectacular...if you were somewhere other than Vancouver

      Last night's cloud cover in Vancouver impaired views of the November full moon.

      Also known as the beaver moon or hunter's moon, it was opposite the sun at 10:23 p.m. Pacific daylight time.

      The November full moon was traditionally beloved by hunters and trappers because it offered them better opportunities to find their prey, who were at their fattest going into winter.
