Driver facing possible life-threatening injuries after collision in Surrey

      A road closure is in effect in Surrey after a collision between two vehicles this morning resulted in one of the two drivers facing possible critical injuries.

      Surrey RCMP stated today (March 31) that prior to 9 a.m. today, two vehicles collided near the intersection of 152nd Street and 44th Avenue in South Surrey.

      The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with serious injuries. One of the drivers sustained potentially life-threatening injuries.

      While an investigation into the collision continues on, 152nd Street between Colebrook Road and 40th Avenue will remain closed in both directions and are expected to remain closed for several hours.

      Elsewhere in Metro Vancouver, Langley RCMP are investigating a head-on collision between two vehicles that took place in Langley on March 29.
