After a head-on collision took place in Langley, police are asking for the public’s help in an investigation into the incident.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on March 29, Langley RCMP received a call about a collision between a 1969 red GTO and a 2015 White Honda Pilot in the 21200 block of 56th Avenue in Langley.

Both involved vehicles only had one occupant, who were the drivers, each.

The Honda was driven by a 59-year-old woman from Surrey while the GTO, driven by a 33-year-old male from Langley, was believed to be heading west in the oncoming lane.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the collision.

Any witnesses of the collision, or anyone who has footage, are asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
