Your horoscope for March 8 to 14, 2012

Gauging by Thursday’s full moon in Virgo, satisfaction falls short for all. It should’ve been and can always be better. We can complain, blame, and feel victimized. Deficiencies, failings, and mistakes are the present focal point. Mars, continuing retrograde in Virgo through the middle of April, keeps fires well stoked. (Aside: the higher frequency of accidents can be attributed to this Mars transit.)

Virgo also corresponds to work as well as to working it out, healing, correction, and improvement. By Thursday/Friday’s snap point, watch for labour disputes and other conflicts to crack open a new remedies and solutions dialogue box. A grand trine backdrop in the manifesting element of Earth sets a productive stage for the week ahead. Conversely, this grand trine could perpetuate a stone wall or holding pattern.

Starting back to work on the first day of daylight savings, Mercury in Aries begins retrograde just after midnight on Monday morning, Mitt Romney’s birthday. The cycle continues to April 4, but Mercury will backtrack into Pisces on March 23. While retrograde in Aries, there are battles to face, risks to take, and fires to light, but we may not move as freely nor as quickly as is the norm. Rather than the typical Aries “fire, aim, ready”, a more considered and deliberate response is called for.

Aries
March 19 - April 19

When a full moon occurs in Virgo, you can’t play it safe enough. Pay extra attention to details, paperwork, and health, be a cautious driver, and look before you leap. Watch for something that has been just out of your grasp or vision to reveal itself and to set a domino into motion. Mercury retrograde calls for you to respond, not react.

Taurus
April 19 - May 20

You are about to make an important personal discovery. Too, watch for a lucrative prospect regarding career, speculative, romantic, or social interests. Once you catch the wind or the wave, don’t snooze. Take a leap, act fast, and give it all you’ve got. Mercury retrograde suggests you have more going on—and going for you—behind the scenes.

Gemini
May 20 - June 20

Thursday’s full moon can busy you with an unforeseen problem or conflict to do with home, family, parents, work, or the public. What is not said or done can be more important or more problematic than what is. Heed warning signals, inklings, and sensitivities. Mercury retrograde thrusts you onto a fresh track. Friday through Wednesday brings opportunity for correction and improvement.

Cancer
June 20 - July 22

What you don’t know yet, you’ll know soon enough. Thursday’s full moon can overload or bombard you. Or it can provide you with a significant insight, opportunity, or saving grace. Friday can be initially challenging, but it will get you moving faster. Mercury retrograde can bring a temporary reprieve. Saturday through next Friday, productive stars aid you.

Leo
July 22 - August 22

An unforeseen expense or an emotional drain could get the better of you as Thursday’s full moon rises. There can be more than one pressing concern as you head into the weekend, but you’ll quickly recoup and recover. Come Tuesday, Mercury retrograde extends a working-it-out time frame. Even so, you’ll find next week will run smooth and hold you steady.

Virgo
August 22 - September 22

Feeling a sense of exhilaration or all fired up? Thursday’s full moon in Virgo keeps your fight, might, and opportunity going strong. Mercury retrograde, facilitated by a fecund Earth grand trine, will help you to make full use of the new you. All the bits and pieces will fit naturally now. A fortuitous coming-together week lies ahead.

Libra
September 22 - October 22

Something that looked simple or straightforward can prove to be a lot more complex or involved than was apparent. Thursday’s full moon could bring added headaches, work, or strain. See what’s revealed as a saving grace in disguise. Fix it now rather than later. Next week, the start of Mercury retrograde can alleviate pressure. Moving it forward runs smoother.

Scorpio
October 22 - November 21

Ready or not, Thursday’s full moon delivers an opportunity. It may not be perfect or what you expect, but look for the good parts and extract what you can. On another note, someone could let you down or have to cancel on you. Friday can be hectic, so allow yourself extra wiggle room. Next week puts you back on a productive track.

Sagittarius
November 21 - December 21

Your work is cut out for you. Thursday’s demanding full moon makes you even more aware of this fact. Don’t let guilt, regret, or needless sacrifice be your driving force, and don’t fret about what comes next. Instead aim for productivity and short-term accomplishment. Friday calls for quick thinking or a spontaneous approach. Next week’s reassessment is productive and affirming.

Capricorn
December 21 - January 20

From Friday onward, you’ll have a lot more information to go on. Something that may initially look lacking or problematic may prove to suit the bill just fine. Then again, a solution, remedy, or plan that looks appealing may not hold for the count. A necessary revision works in your favour. Next week will prove productive.

Aquarius
January 20 - February 18

When the shortfall becomes too obvious to ignore, it’s time to spring into action. Friday’s sudden inspiration or impetus can bring more out into the open. You can stumble upon a new idea or avenue that’ll fast-track you onto a better platform. Look for a gap, loophole, or niche to provide an advantage others have missed.

Pisces
February 18 - March 19

The week’s closer brings the broader perspective into much fuller view. The obvious can hit in such a way, you’ll wonder why you couldn’t see it, feel it, or be it previously. It’s a matter of your consciousness coming into great synch with the moment. Next week’s stars find you especially resourceful. You’ll create and generate well.
