Relay For Life is a fun team event that aims to celebrate cancer survivors, provide hope to those currently fighting cancer, and honour loved ones who lost their lives as a result of cancer. At Relay For Life, we walk to raise funds that go towards world-class research, services for patients and their families, cancer prevention initiatives and advocacy on important cancer-related issues.

Team members take turns walking around a track, and each team taking part has at least one member on the track at all times to symbolize the ongoing fight against cancer. A luminary ceremony will be held during the event to allow friends and family to honour their loved ones who have lost their battles with cancer and to provide further support and words of encouragement for those currently fighting cancer.

On and off track, there is always something to do at Relay For Life! Those taking a break from walking can enjoy entertainment and activities (e.g. yoga, puppy therapy, prize draws, dance/music performances, etc.) or grab a bite to eat.

You can get involved by registering for the event and fundraising! Create your own team or join another and compete for fundraising challenge prizes. Registration costs $15/person which includes a Relay for Life t-shirt, free food at the event, and a luminary for the luminary ceremony.
