Amy-Claire Huestis and Suzanne Dery collaborate in an art & life practice of friendship, mysterious experience, and play. Living far apart -- Suzanne lives in Glasgow, Scotland, and Amy-Claire lives in Ladner, BC -- they correspond and record overseas "transmissions". Often they come together to work in ritual participation with time and the elements. The works in this exhibition spring from their summertime residency in July and August of 2017 in Ladner and in Sechelt, British Columbia. This selection of their artist books, concrete poems, drawings, and paintings is a chronicle of their experiential actions with "tools" -- glass disks for seeing and sound triangles. These works are artifacts of engagement with sun, moon, pathway, mountain, river, waterfall, seaside, forest…
