Join us on Sunday, March 4 at Creekside Community Rec Centre to walk in solidarity with women and girls around the world in celebration of International Women’s Day!

CARE’s Walk In Her Shoes challenges members of the public from all walks of life to walk (or run) 10,000 steps - approximately 7km - the distance many women and girls in developing countries must travel each day just to reach basic necessities. The event raises support for CARE, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty and a registered Canadian charity.

Your tax deductible $25 registration fee and all money fundraised will help women and girls to lift themselves out of poverty and fight social injustice!

Event Timeline:
• 8:30am: Vendor Marketplace Opens
• 9:30am: Awards & Recognition
• 10:00am: Walk Begins
• 12:00pm: Route Closed
