Call for Entry: The Fort Gallery’s 2018 Juried Exhibition: Losing Home, Finding Hope

The Fort Gallery in Fort Langley is holding a juried exhibition, May 30-June 24, 2018. The gallery is seeking 2D and 3D artists for our annual juried exhibition. Entries must be submitted to The Fort Gallery by April 25, 2018.

The exhibition will contemplate loss of home. From the forced migration of political refugees to wildlife losing habitat due to human activity, this show invites submission on themes of loss of home and inquires into possibilities of creating a sense of hope. Contemporary modes of artistic expression are encouraged.

The Fort Gallery is located at 9048 Glover Road, Fort Langley, BC. Fort Langley is the home of a national historic site, as well as several other museums, galleries, and a host of antique shops, boutiques and restaurants. On weekends and holidays, the village bustles with visitors.

How to Apply:
Artists may submit a maximum of 3 artworks electronically for adjudication to the Fort Gallery at fortgallery@hotmail.com by Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

To apply:
1. Complete an online artist submission form (http://www.fortgallery.ca/losing-home-finding-hope-2018-juried-exhibition.html) and pay the jury fee: one fee payment per artist. $30 ($20 for Fort Gallery Society Members).
2. Send a separate email to fortgallery@hotmail.com with digital (jpeg, jpg) images of up to 3 pieces of original 2D or 3D artwork.
