Vancouver Public Library Carnegie Branch, 401 Main, Vancouver Susan Boyd, a professor of human and social development at the University of Victoria, will share from her new book, Busted: An Illustrated History of Drug Prohibition in Canada. The book is a visually engaging history of drug prohibition in Canada from the 1800s to present day, and includes the 'reefer madness' of the 1920s, the psychedelic movement of the 1960s, and the legalization process of medical cannabis today.
