Psychology and Trauma - A Free Talk
Hillcrest Community Centre, 4575 Clancy Loranger Way, Vancouver Psychological trauma is different from physical trauma in that its marks are usually invisible. Sometimes psychological trauma is the consequence of a life-threatening adverse event and sometimes it’s due to something less obvious. This talk will describe what psychological trauma is, including complex trauma. It will also include descriptions of what trauma symptoms are (beyond PTSD), what effective treatments for trauma are available, and what they have in common.
