Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir presents its annual Black History Month concert, “Songs of Justice, Songs of Freedom, Songs of Hope.” A sold-out favourite of Vancouver audiences for the past several years, this event brings 70 singers from throughout BC to join vocal forces with the dynamic 80 voice Good Noise Choir for an extraordinary Mass Gospel Choir celebration. Featuring a range of songs from classic gospel to music from the Civil Rights Movement, Gospel music enthusiasts will be immersed in the transformative power of the genre’s rich musical history and the resounding “good noise” of 150 singers raising their voices in songs that inspire, rejoice, challenge and praise. Masterfully led by Artistic Director Gail Suderman and accompanied by the renowned Good Noise Gospel Band, this compelling concert experience has been described by a previous audience member as being “…two hours of the purest joy. What a thrill…to sing along with the choir…and what a wonderful idea to engage the audience in this way. Praise, joy, tears, worship, all in one afternoon!”
