Illustrative Society is a dance collective with a goal to establish a novel platform for artists to express themselves on local, national, and international stages. Vancouver’s dance community is growing steadily, and we believe it’s important to prepare the next generation of movers to get ahead of their own developmental curves by challenging them to “dance outside the box.” We too, as a collective, must continue to push the envelope when it comes to performance art, and showcase the talent that our community has to offer to a greater audience.

Our 4th and most powerful production, Transcend, is inspired by the self-actualization process that we, as artists, experience each and every day. Through music, we discover new parts of our being that were previously unknown to us. The realization of these internal depths allow us to connect more deeply to our purpose and empower us to continually take steps towards our goal: transcendence.

General seating, first come first serve. Doors will open 1 hour before showtime (4pm/8pm) for a mix and mingle.
