Beauty vs Beast

$8 to $16 (group rate $6/person)

Theatre, Comedy

Beauty vs Beast is an original musical parody of Beauty and the Beast at the Revue Stage on Granville Island, running May 8-9 and 16-18. The play explores beauty standards, gender roles, and patriarchy – through comedy!

Two narrators disagree on how to tell the story and make hilarious changes along the way, with characters erupting in song and dance. Is Belle’s destiny really just to fall in love? Is beauty the only thing that matters? Can anyone ever really learn to love a beast?

Written, directed, and performed by the students of Windsor House School, the public is invited to attend this witty, hilarious, yet thought-provoking performance.
