Dance has been revered as a sacred healing art form by various cultures. It promotes communication, physical exercise and serves as a powerful tool for connection.

Every human activity can be engaged mindfully. Mindfulness derives from the Sanskrit word smriti meaning "awareness". I invite you on a journey of conscious awareness of your immediate experience of dance while adopting an attitude of curiosity, openness and acceptance.

If you love to dance but experience blocks, if you've felt bogged down recently and need a reset, if you are interested in more mindful practices- please come and join me! The workshop will include grounding breathing practices, tips on how to trust your movement and body without judgement and a connective group experience. Feel to share with anyone who might enjoy this!

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Nadine Tilma is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and an avid Hip-Hop Dancer. She is also an eager meditator, musician and workshop facilitator. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Psychology Sc. at the University of Montreal. She then went on to pursue a Diploma in Transpersonal Psychology with the Clearmind Institute. In all of her work, she commits to creating safe and inclusive spaces. Her goal is to have her clients feel heard, understood and fully accepted, helping them find their internal resources and power.
