WISE lounge presents St. Groove and Conniferius.

St. Groove is a duo based out of Red Deer, Alberta and is of the Funk/Blues/Rock variety. St. Groove draws many influences ranging from a vast spectrum of sonic territory and sounds. Influences that range from the smokey, cool Jazz lounge where John Coltrane's quick arpeggios,and Miles Davis smooth trumpet playing, thrived in symbiosis, to CBGB's, where the likes of The Ramones and Blondie unleashed the rawness of punk and rock alike.

Conniferius is a trio based out of Red Deer, Alberta. We write as a collective and our influences are spread across many genres, making use of atmosphere, dynamics, and non-traditional song structures.
