A talented musician and avid dancer, David has an intuitive understanding of the subtle nuances of the relationship between music and the dancefloor. His sets have a unique flair and depth, providing a soundtrack for multi-faceted expression and dance experience. Joining him, JD co-resident Raghunath Khe brings his signature blend of forward-thinking organic vibrations, creating vibrant spaces of natural fusion channeled from the diverse rhythms, tones, and textures of our beloved planet earth.

David Yates is a multi-instrumentalist, dancer, teacher, and performing artist with unquenchable curiosity and a passion for that which is heartfelt, soulful, and deep. He DJs and performs music that calls to all the beating hearts, inviting them into deeper presence, feeling, and play. A member of the world fusion collective Naad (http://www.naad.ca) and a solo performer as Breathwood (http://breathwood.com), he plays a wide range of sounds - from the didgeridoo to percussion to the native flute and beyond. David loves accompanying yoga classes, playing at sound journeys and ecstatic dance events, and sharing his love for music with children and adults of all ages!

:: RAGHUNATH KHE ::

Raghunath Khe has been an intrinsic part of the evolving intentional dance culture for over 20 years. An innovative producer and dj, he is interested in the transformational properties of music and movement, connection and community. He has released three solo albums under various guises, and has contributed musically and otherwise to many festivals and events, both local and international. He is a student of many spiritual traditions, having trained in both North America and India, and an initiate in the line of bhakti, tantra, and shamanic practice. He regularly performs, teaches, and organizes events in the Vancouver area of Canada. He is the co-founder of the Full Moon Medicine gatherings held in the lower mainland of BC, and co-resident dj at Vancouver's long-running Just Dance. A long-time radio presence, he is currently the host and producer of Mantra Radio on CiTR 101.9fm in Vancouver.
