Catherine O’Hara, Kids in the Hall, Jim Carey, 1980’s The Spoons, Anne fucking Murray, one of the Corey’s, Billy Talent, Eugene Levy’s hot son... do you even know what these famous things have in common?!? They’re from Toronto, or as Shawn Desman has appropriately coined it, the TDot. And just like Mr. Desman, Carmelahhh will be taking off to rock it in the TDot with their pal Kyle Fines to debut their brand new show Morning Buzz LIVE! at the Toronto Fringe Festival! And you know what Torontonians famously say about Toronto: what happens in Toronto ends up in a Drake song called “HI I USED TO LIVE IN THE 6!” so stay tuned for THAT, too!

But before we pack our bags and run through the 6 with our woes, we’re throwing our very own send-off show, Carmelahhh Presents: Pronto Toronto, a Toronto Fringe fundraiser, with very SPECIAL GUESTS:

Ese Atawo
Fatima Dhowre
Cake Walk (Stacey McLachlan & Jordan Potter)!

THEN, we’re going to give you a sneak peak of what we’re bringing to Toronto!

Doors are at 7:30pm, show is at 8:30pm. Make sure you come early and get in on our super fun raffle and cheap bar!

Tickets are $10 online (before fees), and $15 at the door. Beer, wine, and [mimosas] are $5.
OR Purchase our VIP Package for $20 which includes: 1 ticket to our show, 1 mimosa, and 5 raffle tickets!

***All proceeds of the show will go to the production of Morning Buzz LIVE! We’re talking show expenses like printing posters and flyers, props, costumes, sponsored advertisements, other media stuff!***

More about Morning Buzz LIVE!:
Morning Buzz LIVE! is a live, comedic play following the lives of TV hosts and personalities, Josh Daytona and Marie-Claire Shephard, after a new and over-qualified host in the heat of a Twitter scandal, Linda Wu, is thrown into the mix to help boost ratings. Together through their wild personalities and crazy antics, they attempt to keep their beloved morning talk show from being cancelled, while struggling with the baggage of their own individual deep-seeded issues with the entertainment industry. They explore themes of race and gender, focusing on the power struggles within the workplace, while shining a spotlight on representation seen in media today.
