At Bethlehem Centre, it’s our “favourites,” at our Poet Pairing reading for the month of June 2018. It’s the last Poet Pairing until autumn 2018. This wonderful event takes place at the Bethlehem Centre in Nanaimo at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018, at 2371 Arbot Rd. Enjoy tuneful music improvisation that is evocative and soul-stirring. Cellist Dow and pianist Hokanson create contemplative improvisation that is tranquil, inspiring and meditative with their memorable performances.

Experience readings from celebrated poets Maya Angelou, Mary Oliver, Richard Wagamese, David Whyte and Wendell Barry. Historical poets include the mystics: Germany’s Hildegard of Bingen (1098 – 17 September 1179), Rumi (1207-1273), Hafiz(1315-1390) and Julian of Norwich (c. 8 November 1342 – c. 1416).
