Westside Community Food Market

Market details:
The goal of the market is to support small-scale local food producers and make locally and sustainably produced food more accessible to the community. This year’s market will feature a variety of new & returning vendors, including local farmers, bakers, and artists. We would love to have you come out, meet your local food producers, taste great food and make new friends.

The market happens every Thursday starting June 28th till September 13th from 3 - 7PM at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House!

Mitigating Impacts:
The market aims to reduce negative impacts on neighbours. Most of the traffic to the market is foot and bike traffic. There will be live music every week that can be heard in the market area. This market has been licensed by the City of Vancouver as a Community Food Market. If you have any additional concerns, please contact Amrita.

Get involved!
There are many ways to get involved in this great project and enjoy evenings with your community. The market would not exist without the dedication of our community members & volunteers.
Volunteer: Tasks can range from helping with set-up and take-down to marketing.
Share your skills: Join us at our “nextpert” booth to share your seasonal vegetable tips.
Become a vendor: Test your food business with market experience.
Sponsor the market: The market depends on local support to keep running, and we have creative ways to highlight your support.
If you’re interested in any of the opportunities above, please contact Amarita at or 604-736-7732.

We also have limited number of subsidy coupons available. Please contact Patricia Paz at 604-736-3588 ext 128 or if you are interested in the subsidy coupons.
