Forest Bathing Walks

Event is over.

Join Vancouver's first certified Forest Therapy Guide to explore the basics of forest bathing - a restorative practice inspired by the Japanese tradition of shinrin-yoku. Your guide will lead your through a series of "invitations" designed to calm your mind, by physically slowing down and connecting with your senses. In doing so, we open the door to the healing powers of the forest. Research suggests you'll feel more relaxed, focused, and even a little more creative than you already are. And your immune system gets a nice boost!

These walks are about exploring new ways to deepen our connections with nature, ourselves, and one another.

The cost for all 4 weeks is only $54 (with a 50% discount for Vancouver residents with a Leisure Access Card). I encourage folks to sign up for the 4-week series; however, you may register for individual dates at $15/walk.

Advance registration is required through the West End Community Centre or online at:
(Search "Forest Therapy" and select individual dates or the 4-week package).

We'll be meeting at a different location in the park each week:
July 21st - Stanley Park Nature House
July 28th - Stanley Park Bus Loop
August 11th - Second Beach Concession Stand
August 18th - Third Beach Concession Stand

Please note there is no walk on Aug. 4th due to the long-weekend. Walks are designed for ages 16+ and are not suitable for pets.
