Join us for an exhibition of pure painting by our gallery and guest artists. We are pleased to introduce the work of Kyle Scheurmann who graduated this year with an MFA from Emily Carr University and Wei Li, a BFA graduate from the University of Alberta and a finalist in the RBC Painting Competition in 2017. New paintings by Lesley Finlayson include 30″ square landscapes and 20″ tondos (round canvases) which play off each other brilliantly. Chris Friesen interprets pre-impressionist Camille Corot by using “abstract licks of paint” applied to a style rooted in tradition and Megan Hepburn‘s use of rich and muted hues give her abstract paintings a luminescent and vibrant glow.
