The David Hodgson Trio
David Hodgson is a Toronto based Jazz musician. A recent winner of the Fraser MacPherson Jazz Fund award. In 2016 he participated in the Berklee Jazz Workshop led by multiple-Grammy Award–winning drummer, composer, and producer Terri Lyne Carrington. This past summer he spend four weeks working with the 2017 National Youth Jazz Combo, led by Juno Award winning saxophonist Kirk Macdonald. Currently, David studies Jazz Performance at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the University of Toronto Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Gordon Foote, and studies with Kelly Jefferson.
