Come out on August 23-24 (4-9pm) for a fun placemaking event in Vancouver's Chinatown!

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Courtyard occupies a key location in the heart of Chinatown. In an effort to revitalize the Courtyard and promote it as a vibrant public space for the neighbourhood, local businesses, and visitors alike, the community is organizing a series of cultural events through the summer that will showcase the Courtyard’s unique position and potential.

Local vendors and creatives will be on site in the Courtyard for the 2-day event, including Edible Projects, Chinatown Storytelling Centre, and frida&frank. The event will also feature live performances from local musicians Gerta Heba, Jimmy Baldwin, Kin Balam, Vi-An Diep, and more.
