This is an evening hike ideal for stretching out your legs and taking in the sights after a long day. The hike begins in the parking lot of the Seymour Mountain Ski Area. We will meet by the concrete barriers at the far end of the parking lot. The hike is fairly easy and will take approximately 40min to 1hr each way. The trail takes us through a beautiful old growth forest along the side of Dog Mountain with small lakes along the way and ends with a spectacular view of the entire city. The viewpoint is a great spot to sit down for a picnic before heading back.
